I live close to Winter Hill in Lancashire, hence the title and a lot of our adventures are local to here. We don't just go running, we find places that are interesting, such as old mines, brickworks and other local historic sites. Animals that I found whilst out for walks in the Ardennes, Belgium.
This beetle is playing dead.
This beetle made a squeaking noise.
I found this shield bug at La Roche castle.
This is a grasshopper who sat on my hand for some time.
Ooooh creepy crawlies, how wonderful!! Grasshoppers are cool customers by the looks of it and that frog is lovely! Did Evie scream at the spider?
