About Me Jake ,I am 11 years old and have Autism. This Blog is about what I can do not what I cannot,sometimes people think I cannot because I have autism ,this blog is about challenging that!I have lots of special interests, in particular running, exploring and this blog shows a small amount of what I get up to! Please be careful as some of activities I do may look easy are not , I know Winter Hill very well I can get off safely and know what to do when the weather closes in ,to keep myself safe I use high performance clothing and footwear,waterproof/ breathable/reflective/thermal layers. in layers so I keep warm and dry , I take my safety seriously and I always take care when out exploring. My dad is very experienced on the fells he is teaching me how to keep safe.I can use a map and compass, the hills can be windy , very cold, be wet , misty and boggy. Autism awareness Day Hamburg 2013 ,Blauer Himmel über Hamburg

Blauer Himmel über Hamburg“

Aus diesem Anlass wird Autismus Hamburg e.V. am Samstag, 6.April 2013, in der Zeit von 12.00 – 16.00 Uhr wieder einen Informationsstand in der Innenstadt haben.

Wo?   Auf der Reesendammbrücke zwischen Europa-Passage und Alsterschiffanleger.

Wir wollen mit der Aktion auf Autismus-Spektrum-Störungen (ASS) aufmerksam machen und aufklären, um damit die Hürden für Menschen mit ASS abzubauen.  Wir werden Informationszettel verteilen, mit Interessierten ins Gespräch kommen und Material (Flyer, Broschüren, Arbeitsmaterial) auslegen. Im vergangenen Jahr haben wir mit vielen Menschen gesprochen und tolle Kontakte geknüpft.

Parallel zu unserem Info-Stand werden wir 1.000 blaue Luftballons mit Helium befüllen lassen  - Blau ist die internationale Farbe für Autismus!

Um Punkt 16.00 Uhr wollen wir dann gemeinsam mit Euch, Angehörigen, Freunden und Interessierten die Ballons in den Himmel steigen lassen und ein Zeichen setzen!

Besucht unseren Stand! Kommt alle um 16.00 Uhr und bringt am besten die ganze Familie mit!

Für den Info-Stand suchen wir noch Eltern, die Zeit und Lust haben, uns eine Stunde (oder mehr) zwischen 12.00 und 16.00 Uhr zu unterstützen!  Wir haben im letzten Jahr trotz Eiseskälte, Schnee und Regen sehr viel Spaß gehabt, tolle Gespräche geführt und viele Menschen erreicht!
