You are a fine young man to care so much about our warriors and the women nurses who eased their suffering. I am so proud of you. Please keep up the good writing and photography. My friend Luc Inion grew up on the farm where Dozinghem Cemetery is located. He saw your blog and forwarded it to me. I am the niece of Nurse Helen Fairchild you had in your story. I am 82, and two years ago my daughter took me to visit Dozinghem and to meet Luc and his fine family.
ReplyDeleteYour story made me cry tears of joy to know that a boy like you appreciated her.
