This the area around the buildings the site of Montcliffe colliery, there were two shafts linked by a tramway, nothing remains of this now,
I am ruining up to the two lads ,I asked the person who he was talking to , he said he was talking on a radio !
which i knew anyway !

note from dad- Jake is visible we have tested this coat at night ,high viz strips means 360 reflective viz with high viz patches ,
both Jake and Evie are very familiar with this area, both are wearing high performance kit, both have firefly strobes and whistles on them ,both can have GPS locators on them, Jake has map and compass on him and knows how to use this in all weathers, Jake was carrying a walkie talkie , Evie was always within 50 to 100 metres of me ,
Evie went across the Bridge I jumped across the water !
there was a lot of cars today , some did not want to slow down for the walkers on this road !

This is the area where the tramway changed direction into the mine ,
sometimes Evie likes to see what she can find among the moss
I wonder what these are ?
